Axis is an independent commodity desk for global trade — timber, LNG, crude oil, scrap metals, grain, aerospace and more. One desk, from origin to final settlement.
Standards we document cargo against and verify along the supply chain.
Timber, energy, metals, grain and aerospace — handled end-to-end through our origination and shipping desk. If it moves in tonnage or value, it sits in our book.

A single desk carries each mandate from the source through to final payment confirmation.

We sit close to producers, mills, refineries and yards across the Nordics, the Baltics, the Gulf, Central Africa and South America. Our mandates start at the buyer, then we walk them back to the right origin — never the other way around.

Timber, energy, metals and grain move through established break-bulk, container, tanker and air corridors. Every cargo is documented — phytosanitary, FSC or PEFC chain of custody, EUDR due diligence, FLEGT where applicable, Incoterms 2020 — before it ever leaves the yard.

Counterparties are vetted, terms locked in writing, payment instruments confirmed before tonnage moves. CAD, LC at sight, escrow — the structure fits the deal, not the other way around.
Tonnage moves across our core corridors — North to South, East to West. Origin to discharge port, with a single point of accountability.
Axis was built for one thing: to move commodities between principals who'd rather work with one named desk than a chain of unknowns. We sit close to the mills, the refineries, the yards and the hangars, we know the captains and the surveyors, and we keep the deal sheet short on purpose.
Our mandates lean buy-side. We're paid to find the right tonnage, grade or asset at the right specification — certified, on time at the port. We're not paid to chase volume for its own sake.
Axis is part of Northforgegroup, a privately held house investing across commodities, shipping and industrial assets. The desk operates independently, with the patience that ownership allows.

Ownership, registration and sanctions screening on both sides of a trade before a file is progressed.
EUDR due diligence, FSC/PEFC chain-of-custody documentation where applicable, Incoterms 2020 and payment instruments (CAD, LC at sight, escrow).
Structuring support so terms, timelines and document flow are consistent from quote to settlement.
This describes internal commercial and compliance support only. It is not legal advice, it is not a guarantee that any transaction will be approved, completed or risk-free, and it does not imply representation by outside counsel unless separately engaged and confirmed in writing.

Tell us the product, the volume and the discharge port. We'll return a firm quote and a load window inside one business day.
